Coercive measures

Reception center for people affected by coercive measures for assistance purposes and out-of-home placements up to 1981

People directly affected by coercive assistance measures and out-of-home placements prior to 1981 (administrative assistance, castration, sterilization, forced abortion, forced adoption, as well as children in care and institutionalized children) can contact us.

Victims' Aid has been given the task of accompanying and supporting people who have been the victims of such measures. We can help you request documents from cantonal archives or other institutions that may help you understand your past.

Further information on this subject can be found on the website of the delegate for victims of coercive assistance measures: : www.fuersorgerischezwangsmassnahmen.ch

Have you or someone close to you been the victim of an assisted coercion measure or work release? You don't know what to do, who to contact or who to talk to?

Then get in touch with us. We'll help you find a solution.
